About

I am a Mechanical Engineering student at the University of Massachusetts Amherst with a minor in Engineering Management. My interests include mechanical design, CAD, manufacturing, product development, and continuous improvement.

I enjoy taking engineering ideas from early concepts to practical results through modeling, prototyping, testing, and iteration. I am especially interested in understanding how design decisions affect manufacturability, performance, usability, and production.

My experiences in structural research and operations management have allowed me to explore engineering from both technical and manufacturing perspectives. Through these opportunities, I have worked with composite fabrication, material testing, production data, machine performance, and process improvement.

Outside of engineering, I enjoy acrylic painting as a creative outlet.

    • Monitor machine downtime, production efficiency, and quality metrics to identify opportunities for process optimization and increased throughput.

    Structural Research Intern

    November 2022 – May 2023

    • Researched structural health monitoring in autonomous aerial vehicles using sensors attached to a hexacopter.
    • Collected and analyzed flight-condition data.
    • Fabricated carbon-fiber composite sheets using epoxy resin.
    • Performed tensile testing with a universal testing machine to evaluate material strength and mechanical behavior.
